Mission Statement
                       
It is the aspiration of Deaf Communications Ltd to bridge the gap between the Irish Deaf Community and the wider community.   In order to attain to this , Deaf Communications will provide training for both communities so as to have an understanding of the variations in culture, to resolve intercultural miscommunication and misunderstanding, both in the work place and throughout general interaction within society.   Such training will enable Deaf people to integrate more easily into aspects of everyday life, which in this day and age is their human right to do so.    Deaf Communications want to dissolve the prejudice and embarrassment of intercultural communication and work towards a platform of mutual understanding.    

Deaf Communications have a special interest in focusing on people when they are starting off in life.   We will provide information to parents of Deaf children and will offer awareness through training in the medical field.   We are also firmly committed to conducting research in the field of Deaf Studies and endeavour to strengthen the body of literature available within this domain.
